Description

COLTENE has an opening for an Order Entry/Purchasing Coordinator at our facility in Mt. Pleasant, SC.

Purchasing Coordinator has the responsibility to use the SAP and Odoo operating systems to enter purchase orders to be shipped to customers. The person in this position needs to be able to perform routine administrative work such as data entry, administrative support and communication with suppliers and perform high levels of organizational skills. This position is responsible for providing accurate and timely lead time estimates and order status information, and performing any related work as required.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Order Entry
  • Create reports in Odoo and Excel
  • Speak with customers by phone
  • Work on Procurement platforms to retrieve orders and update pricing as needed
  • Place purchase orders into Odoo and SAP
  • Reconcile customer accounts in Odoo
  • Assist in shipping department
  • Perform general office customer service, maintain files, phones and fulfillment duties
  • Help with mailings, emails, faxes, scheduling and record keeping as needed
  • Filing and stocking supplies as needed
  • Undertake special projects for the department as assigned maintaining special fil
  • Perform other duties as requested or necessary to meet business conditions and change

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability needed in order to successfully perform the job.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's Degree in Business or related is preferred
  • 3 Years' experience in an administrative role
  • Knowledge and ability using ERP system such as SAP
  • Ability to help in shipping department
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Word and Excel
  • Ability to utilize email effectively and search the internet pertaining to order fulfillment
  • 10 key and data entry skills
  • Must have good organization skills and ability to prioritize
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of office procedures and ability to operate standard office equipment
  • Ability to multi-task, in a self-directed environment.
  • Strong telephone skills

Working conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works primarily in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate. This is a full-time hourly non-exempt position requiring at least 40 hours per week. This position requires no travel.

Physical requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily sitting for prolonged periods of time. Standing, walking or bending will occur from time to time. Prolonged periods of concentration and focus are required along with adequate interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with stress of time constraints. The employee is required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects; reach overhead with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position requires regular and consistent attendance at the facility.
