About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity starts Jan 5, 2026, and runs for 120 days with a Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule. The provider will support both inpatient wound care and acute rehab, as well as outpatient family practice cases and procedures, offering vital coverage for a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide inpatient wound care and support acute rehabilitation patients, referring severe cases to the ER as needed
• Manage outpatient basic family practice cases including cough, cold, flu, hypertension, diabetes, and musculoskeletal complaints
• Perform common procedures such as suturing, casting, and incision and drainage
• Deliver high-quality patient care across a broad spectrum of routine medical needs
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care

Additional Information

• Minimum 3 years of Family Practice experience required
• Must hold current licensure and board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine for California
