As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive physical therapy services. Your responsibilities will include screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-assessment, and discharge planning for patients across a variety of settings. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to program planning and protocol development.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations that include reviewing pertinent history, performing specific assessments, and providing comprehensive documentation of findings. Involve patients and families in goal-setting discussions.
Implement treatment protocols effectively based on evaluation results and patient needs. Collaborate with healthcare professionals as necessary and document any changes in the patient's condition that may require modifications to the care plan.
Ensure smooth discharge planning and follow-up care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, including thorough evaluations, daily encounter notes, interim progress summaries, and detailed discharge evaluations.
Demonstrate strong time management skills to meet productivity expectations. Manage an organized schedule and show a commitment to providing seamless patient access to care through flexibility, innovation, and empathetic interactions.
Proactively pursue professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and contribute to the growth of the organization. Participate in mentoring new staff, students, volunteers, and technicians.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
Current licensure in Maryland, DC, or Virginia as required for the specific location.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
This position offers a competitive hiring rate of USD $55.00 per hour.
