We are seeking a dynamic MSW Manager for a large outpatient geriatric center in San Francisco, CA.

The Social Work Manager is responsible for the management of the Social Work department including - service delivery, quality of care, staffing and finances.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Leads and supervises the Social Work staff.
2. Ensures social work staff are effectively participating in the Interdisciplinary Team for participant care and
coordination.
3. Ensures competencies requirements are set and met; provides ongoing coaching and training.
4. Develops, implements and supports department specific performance goals, best practices and quality
improvement programs to advance the goals and objectives of the organization.
5. Works collaboratively across the organization to establish and monitor utilization targets, financial targets.
Resolves issues related to quality programming, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
6. Sets standard criteria and process, and performs utilization review of participant care plans.
7. Ensures delivery of quality services by overseeing the department's compliance with regulatory requirements,
adherence to policies and procedures, and leading continuous process improvement and risk management
efforts.
8. Conducts performance evaluations and setting of goals.
9. Coordinates and assist with social work coverage in partnership with Social Work Leads and Program Managers.
10. Provides individual case management to participants as needed.
11. Organize and facilitate department meetings.
12. Oversees social work related grants and the caregiver program and department specific projects.
13. Coordinates student (intern) placements including training, supervision, and evaluations, in collaboration with
Program Manager and Learning and Development Department.
14. Establishes, develops, and maintains working relations with educational institutions and community agencies and
organizations.
15. Provides oversight of contracted LCSW clinical supervision staff as applicable.
16. If LCSW, provide LCSW supervision hours to social workers as needed.
17. Serves as an effective link with administration, OLSHS's management team and department staff
through effective communication, productive collaboration, demonstrated leadership and facilitation of change
opportunities.
18. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
1. Master's Degree in Social Work or health-related field. LCSW preferred.
2. Four years' experience working as a clinical social worker, preferably in the field of geriatrics.
3. Two years' experience in management/supervision/financial management.
4. A skilled facilitator and problem solver with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
6. Experience with an electronic health record systems preferred.
