Overview
A growing company in the insurance industry is seeking a Senior Paralegal to support corporate, regulatory, and contract functions. This role works closely with in-house attorneys on contract reviews, corporate governance, and compliance support across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys with reviewing, drafting, and coordinating a variety of agreements.
- Assist with corporate governance tasks & conduct legal research related to corporate and regulatory matters.
- Assist with responses to regulatory inquiries, audits, and licensing-related tasks.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors; manage invoice routing and payment tracking for the legal department.
- Contribute to special projects and provide general administrative support to the legal team.
- MUST HAVE 3+ years in a legal, insurance, or corporate contract-focused environment (ideally at a corporate in-house legal team)
- Must HAVE Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: familiarity with insurance terminology, products, or regulatory frameworks; paralegal certification.
- High attention to detail and strong follow-through.
- Ability to build relationships across departments.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Strong problem-solver with a client-service mindset.
- Able to support complex governance and compliance processes.
