Our Food Runner delivers food and drinks from the kitchen to customers' tables, ensures orders are correct, and assists servers by clearing plates and maintaining a clean dining area. Key responsibilities include carrying food, checking orders for accuracy, and clearing tables to help servers. Essential skills are communication, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

Deliver food and drinks: Transport meals to the correct customer tables.

Check for accuracy: Verify that the food being delivered matches the order ticket and is presented correctly.

Table maintenance: Assist servers by clearing dirty dishes, wiping tables, and resetting them for the next guests.

Assist staff: Work as a liaison between the kitchen and the waitstaff, helping to manage the flow of service, especially during busy times.

Maintain cleanliness: Ensure the dining area, service stations, and condiment stations are clean, stocked, and organized.

Skills and qualifications

Communication: Effectively communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and sometimes customers.

Attention to detail: Ensure food is correct, presented properly, and delivered to the right table.

Physical stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift and carry trays of food and drinks.

Teamwork: Collaborate with other staff members to provide a seamless dining experience.

Fast-paced environment: Must be able to work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak hours.

Customer service: Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while interacting with guests.
