About the Role

As a Workday Technical Lead . you'll be the technical domain expert responsible for shaping the architectural direction and technology strategy across our corporate business capabilities - including Finance, HR, Legal & Compliance, Risk, Workplace Experience, Global Communications, and IT.

You'll partner with senior business and technology leaders to define the target state architecture, drive innovation and modernization, and ensure that all solutions align with Capital Group's long-term strategic vision.

What You'll Do

  • Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap for corporate systems and platforms.
  • Partner with business and IT leaders to translate strategic objectives into scalable, secure solution architectures.
  • Lead the design and governance of end-to-end architectures across cloud, data, integration, and application domains.
  • Drive modernization initiatives such as cloud migration, data platform evolution, and API-first integration.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and vendors to support business transformation.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure solutions meet technical, security, and compliance standards.
  • Guide architecture reviews, mentor solution architects, and promote best practices across teams.
  • Champion innovation by identifying emerging technologies and evaluating their potential enterprise impact.
What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture, with leadership across corporate technology domains.
  • Strong background in cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and hybrid integrations.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns, data architecture, APIs, and microservices.
  • Experience with ERP and corporate systems (Workday, SAP, Oracle Cloud, or similar).
  • Proven ability to collaborate with executive and cross-functional teams to deliver complex, high-impact solutions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence architecture direction and governance.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Preferred: TOGAF or Cloud Architect certification (AWS/Azure).
