As a Senior Software Engineer focused on CI and Development Workflow, you will play a key role in enhancing our engineering processes. This is a great opportunity to influence how our developers work and contribute to a vibrant team.

What you'll do:

  • Enhance Firefox development workflows to minimize testing and debugging time, while integrating automation into our processes.
  • Collaborate with a diverse, geographically-distributed team of engineers.
  • Mentor junior team members and seek mentorship from more experienced colleagues.
  • Provide code reviews and share technical insights with cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze data, create dashboards, and identify trends to optimize Firefox development.

What you'll bring:

  • Strong Python skills with experience in building services.
  • Proficient in front-end development with JavaScript.
  • Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django, and familiarity with cloud services like GCP or AWS.
  • Solid understanding of databases and SQL.
  • Experience with CI/CD systems like GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
  • Comfortable working across multiple platforms: Windows, Linux, Mac, or Android.
  • A passion for improving developer productivity.
