Role Overview

This Registered Nurse role supports a Cardiac Telemetry / Medical-Surgical unit caring for adult patients with cardiac and general medical conditions. The RN delivers safe, high-quality bedside care while working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient condition on admission and throughout each shift
  • Identify and report changes in patient status promptly
  • Administer medications and monitor patient response
  • Perform ordered procedures and continuous monitoring
  • Document care accurately and in a timely manner
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge plans
  • Provide responsive, patient-centered care with strong communication and teamwork
Required Qualifications
  • 1 year of RN experience required
  • Experience accepted from Home Health, LTAC, Skilled Nursing, Outpatient Rehab, or Corrections
  • Acute care experience is NOT required
  • Active Florida RN license or compact multistate RN license
  • Compact nurses must obtain FL license within 60 days if relocating
  • BLS required within 30 days of start
  • ACLS required within 90 days of start
  • Comfortable managing higher patient ratios and working in a team-based environment

Compensation & Differentials

Hourly Pay Range:
  • $29.00/hr (2 years experience)
  • $33.71/hr (5 years experience)
  • Up to $43.00/hr (17+ years experience)
Shift Differentials:
  • Nights: $4.25/hr
  • Weekends: $3.00/hr
  • Sign-On Bonus: None
