Position Summary: The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for receiving, picking, and shipping materials that will allow field locations to function daily. The focus of the Warehouse Associate will be to seek to build value and quality into the entire organization by participating in fulfillment, distribution, warehousing, and other supply chain related tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pick orders from their assigned bin location by using WMS software.
  • Picks/Packs/Ships all orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicates relevant information with peers and leadership allowing them to fulfill their duties.
  • Conducts training and cross-training of knowledge and expertise within area of responsibility.
  • Performs all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
  • Assist in counting physical inventory and inventory control.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise.
  • Pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in delivery area.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
  • Assist in counting of physical inventory and inventory control.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
  • Maintain orderliness in the warehouse and work areas, always.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Experience and Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without "dropping the ball."
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a "roll up your sleeves" and "win every day" mentality.
  • Hold oneself accountable and responsible while being self-driven in accomplishing goals.
  • Detail-oriented and can focus on task at hand by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels to communicate with internal and external stakeholders articulately.
  • Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection.
  • Ability to provide timely and empathetic service through all communication channels keeping peer and customer needs first.
  • Valid driver's license may be required dependent on work location.
  • Must be comfortable ascending and descending ladders of varying heights to perform services.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
  • Forklift certification or the ability to attain.
Travel Requirements:
  • Local travel may be required.
Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:
  • May be requested to work overtime on evenings and weekends dependent on business need.
Physical Requirements:
  • Normal office environment and field office/manufacturing/construction environment.
  • Performs indoor work in a climate-controlled environment.
  • Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
