We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Analyst with around 10 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The role focuses on AML (Anti-Money Laundering) transaction monitoring, requiring deep domain expertise, strong SQL skills, and comprehensive testing and data validation capabilities. The ideal candidate will be adept at understanding complex transaction flows, identifying suspicious activities, and ensuring compliance through rigorous scenario testing and validation.Key Responsibilities:Lead transaction monitoring activities within the AML framework to detect suspicious or anomalous behavior.Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and validate transactional data.Apply strong domain knowledge of AML regulations and payment processing to analyze transaction data and identify risks.Develop and execute comprehensive test scenarios to validate transaction monitoring systems and ensure accuracy.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement effective monitoring solutions.Validate data integrity and accuracy, troubleshooting discrepancies and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.Document testing processes, results, and data validation findings.Qualifications & Skills:Around 10 years of experience in transaction monitoring, preferably within the AML or electronic payments domain.Expert-level proficiency in SQL with a proven track record of writing complex queries.Strong understanding of AML transaction monitoring frameworks, compliance regulations, and risk management.Experience in designing and executing testing scenarios for transaction validation.Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills for documenting and presenting findings.
