Description
  • Good skills in reading, writing, and math
  • Must know and comply with all safety procedures for safe operation
  • Operate a forklift
  • Load trailers
  • Check number of units against packing slip
  • Watch for damaged product in the units when loading
  • Clear the staging area daily, placing pipe in the correct storage bays while keeping watch for damaged product
  • Pre-build units for next day shipping schedule when time permits
  • Perform forklift inspections according to Forklift Checklist
  • Perform yard count for monthly inventory
  • Police yard and clean prior to end of shift
  • Knowledge of pipe print in order to distinguish different sized pipe
  • Place pipe from partial pallets that are in staging area in the piece rack each morning
  • Comply and ensure safety and company policies and procedures are followed
Position Requirements
  • Complete forklift, classroom, and hands-on training
  • Must be trained and licensed to operate a forklift
  • Ability to work weekends if necessary
  • High School Diploma or GED
