About the Role
We’re seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in Statesville, NC, providing comprehensive care across oncology, urgent care, and critical care settings. The ideal candidate will assess, diagnose, and manage diverse and complex patient conditions while collaborating closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

This role also focuses on patient education and communication, ensuring patients and families understand their diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies.

Minimum Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license (State of North Carolina)
• NCCPA certification (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants)
• Clinical experience in oncology, urgent care, or critical care settings
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working on a multidisciplinary oncology team
• Oncology Certified Physician Assistant (OCPA) or equivalent credential
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong background in patient education and counseling
• Participation in research or quality improvement initiatives
Key Responsibilities
• Perform detailed patient histories and physical exams
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Provide urgent care services including triage and management of acute illnesses or injuries
• Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and preventive care
• Order, interpret, and follow up on labs and diagnostic tests
• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation
• Participate in multidisciplinary care meetings
• Provide emergency and critical care interventions as needed
