Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and active certification for a Monday-Friday day shift.

Responsibilities
  • Work in an outpatient mammography setting
  • Perform mammography radiographic procedures for screening and diagnostic purposes
  • Schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts
  • Direct patient care is required
  • No on-call or call-back requirements
  • Uniform is hot pink scrubs
  • Work is fully on-site
  • Responsibilities include performing mammography exams used by physicians to identify abnormalities and assist in patient diagnosis and treatment
  • No radius rule applies; local and travel candidates are considered at the same rate
  • References are not required at time of consideration
  • Candidates must comply with all applicable facility policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional mammography experience
  • All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration
  • Procedure and biopsy experience preferred
  • Full Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
  • Completion of Relias Behavioral Assessment, resume, and skills checklist required
  • License required if applicable
