Summary

As a Logistics Coordinator at DSV, you willbe responsible forcoordinating and managing the movement of goods, materials, and products from suppliers to customers. You will work closely with various departments within the company to ensure that shipments are delivered on time, within budget, and according to customer specifications. You will alsobe responsible fortracking shipments, managing inventory levels, and resolving any issues that may arise during the shipping process.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the movement of goods from suppliers to customers

  
  

• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure shipments are delivered on time and according to customer specifications

  
  

• Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs documentation

  
  

• Track shipments and manage inventory levels

  
  

• Resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process, including delays, damages, and lost shipments

  
  

• Maintainaccuraterecords of all shipping transactions

  
  

• Monitor transportation costs and work to minimize expenses

  
  

• Stayup-to-datewith industry trends and developments

  
  

Educational background / Work experience

• A bachelor's degree inlogistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred but notrequired.

  
  

• At least 2 years of experience inlogisticsor supply chain management is preferred.

  
  

• Experience working in a transportation orlogisticscompany is a plus.

For this position, the expected base pay is:$20.75-$27.75 / Hourly. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, geographical location, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
