As an Associate Clinical Director, you will play a crucial role in supervising and training our primary care providers (PCPs) at your assigned center. Your primary responsibilities will involve optimizing clinical quality, enhancing patient outcomes, and ensuring high levels of clinician and patient satisfaction. While overseeing the clinical aspects of our center, you will also engage in direct patient care as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses, particularly older adults.
  • Take full accountability for patient care and outcomes, collaborating with specialists as needed.
  • Engage with hospitalists for seamless care transition of hospitalized patients.
  • Lead your care team, including care promoters, facilitators, and coordinators, to deliver comprehensive patient support.
  • Participate in managing patients who are unable to visit the office by collaborating with transitional care teams and resources.
  • Facilitate essential meetings and ensure accountability in center operations and outcomes.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to PCPs, fostering outstanding clinical performance and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with Center Operations Directors to improve center performance and membership growth.
  • Carry out other assigned duties as needed to support operational success.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty.
  • Current active MD license in your state of employment.
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience in geriatric, adult, or family practice; preferred experience as a ChenMed PCP Partner.
  • Completion of Chen Medical training as part of your development plan.
  • Board certification in relevant specialty preferred, with eligibility required.
  • Current DEA registration for controlled substances.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 90 days of employment.

Compensation:

Salary range: $231,876 - $331,251.
