We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist I to be part of our esteemed operating room team at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. If you have a passion for patient care and thrive in fast-paced environments, this is your opportunity to make a difference

Location: Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

Hours: Full-time, evening shift (8 or 10-hour shifts) and on-call duties required.

Compensation: Pay range of $26.10 - $39.15 per hour, with opportunities for shift differentials and performance-based annual increases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe surgical environment using aseptic techniques.
  • Support surgical teams by preparing instruments and supplies efficiently.
  • Assist in patient transport and positioning, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Act as a Second Assistant when needed and anticipate the surgeon's needs during procedures.
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and report any issues promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months of hire
  • No prior experience required, but previous surgical technologist experience is a plus
