The GW Medical Faculty Associates (MFA) has a rich history starting from July 2000, as a not-for-profit, physician-led practice group. Initially operating independently, it has evolved into a robust multi-specialty group and is now the largest independent academic physician practice in its region with over 500 physicians and nearly 200 APP providers.

The MFA provides comprehensive patient care through 52 medical and surgical specialties, emphasizing a holistic approach. Our physicians are not only experts in their fields but also esteemed members of the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences faculty, dedicated to mentoring future medical professionals. Working closely with The George Washington University and The George Washington University Hospital, the MFA has referral ties with 12 area hospitals, establishing itself as a leader in healthcare.

Expanding its outreach, the MFA has a network of community-based practices across DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Located in NW Washington, DC, near over 175 resident embassies, the MFA continues to extend its international clinical footprint, forging connections and delivering care on a global scale.

As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will be central to enhancing and optimizing clinical and financial workflows through innovative electronic health record systems at the MFA. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with clinicians and providers to implement advanced solutions.
  • Managing projects and identifying opportunities for technological innovation.
  • Acting as a liaison between end-users, IT, and software vendors.
  • Ensuring application coding meets specifications and addressing issues promptly.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant business department.
  • 4 years of experience as an Epic application Analyst.
  • Active Epic certification in one or more modules.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or an Associate's degree with substantial related experience.
