About the Role:

The Cargo Risk team has the opportunity and responsibility to make decisions in the best interest of TQL when it comes to evaluating high-risk scenarios and commodities. As a Cargo Risk Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the sales floor by providing issue resolution, risk management and excellent customer service. What you'll be doing:
  • Analyze current risks and identify potential risks that impact freight transport
  • Educating sales teams about the most significant risks to their customer's freight, ensuring they understand those risks and their own accountability
  • Purchase insurance
  • Conduct policy and compliance audits
  • Create policy plans to limit risks based on audit findings
  • Build risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company
What you need:
  • At least 2 years of related professional experience
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to understand broader business issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
