Your Responsibilities as a Diesel Mechanic Will Include:

• Conducting repairs on customer vehicles and trailers
• Executing basic welding tasks
• Communicating completion times and service costs to customers
• Tracking job profitability while upholding the highest quality standards
• Submitting work orders for invoicing purposes
• Managing inventory and supplies efficiently
• Preparing lists of required replacement parts
• Keeping the work area clean and equipment maintained; adhering to all safety and environmental standards

Successful Candidates Will Have:

• A minimum of two years of experience as a diesel mechanic in the heavy-duty industry
• A current Safety Inspector License (for Virginia) or a willingness to obtain one at company expense
• Relevant Automotive Service Excellence certification or equivalent
• Your own tools and the willingness to acquire more as your skills develop (TruckPro offers purchase programs or reimbursement)
• The ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
• A valid driver's license with a solid driving record
• A CDL or the willingness to obtain one at company expense

• This position involves physical activity and the ability to lift, pick, pull, and stock heavy-duty truck parts exceeding 50 lbs.
• Long periods of standing on various surfaces will be required, with responsibilities including forklift operation.
• Routine activities will include walking, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, and climbing.
• Regular use of a computer will be part of daily tasks.
