About Willow Ridge Animal Hospital:
At Willow Ridge Animal Hospital, we're proud to provide compassionate, high-quality veterinary care to the pets of Rockford, Illinois and surrounding areas. Our small animal general practice is home to a dedicated and collaborative team, including two seasoned veterinarians who value teamwork, integrity, and personalized medicine.
Our clinic is fully equipped with in-house labs, digital X-ray, dental X-ray, and an in-clinic pharmacy, enabling our doctors to diagnose and treat efficiently while maintaining excellent continuity of care. We're equipped with in-house laboratory diagnostics, digital X-ray, dental X-ray, and an in-clinic pharmacy, ensuring our doctors have the tools and resources they need to deliver top-tier care.
The Role:
We're seeking an experienced Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our team. This position includes extended evening hours a few days per week, making it ideal for a confident DVM who enjoys working independently and managing a variety of medical and surgical cases.
If you're looking for a flexible schedule and a supportive environment where you can focus on practicing excellent medicine-without the full-time commitment-this could be the perfect fit.

Pay Range: $50,000-60,000 annually,depending on position, location, and experience.

- Prescribe medication
- Work closely in collaboration with team members to provide high quality care
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
- Licensure in the state/s candidate will be working
- Ability to show compassion to both pets and their owners
- Outstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasks
- Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the wellbeing of an animal
- Strong fondness and understanding of animals
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of animal behavior
- Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
