The Skilled Laborer - Demolition is responsible for executing the safe and efficient removal of structures, fixtures, and materials as part of demolition and site preparation projects. This role requires physical strength, a solid understanding of demolition tools and techniques, and a commitment to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have experience working on construction sites, particularly in demolition or related trades.

  • Perform demolition of interior and exterior structures using hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery under supervision.
  • Load, sort, and dispose of debris and salvage materials in accordance with environmental regulations and site plans.
  • Operate jackhammers, drills, saws, grinders, and other equipment as required.
  • Assist with the shoring, bracing, and safeguarding of structures to prevent hazards during demolition.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly.
  • Follow all safety regulations and company protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Support skilled trades and other team members as needed.
  • Report hazards, incidents, and near-misses to the site supervisor immediately

  • Realizar la demolición de estructuras interiores y exteriores utilizando herramientas manuales, herramientas eléctricas y maquinaria pesada bajo supervisión.
  • Cargar, clasificar y eliminar escombros y materiales recuperables de acuerdo con las regulaciones ambientales y los planes del sitio.
  • Operar martillos neumáticos, taladros, sierras, amoladoras y otros equipos según sea necesario.
  • Asistir con el apuntalamiento, refuerzo y protección de estructuras para prevenir peligros durante la demolición.
  • Mantener la limpieza y organización de los sitios de trabajo, asegurando que las herramientas y equipos estén almacenados adecuadamente.
  • Sigue todas las regulaciones de seguridad y protocolos de la empresa, usando el equipo de protección personal (EPP) adecuado.
  • Apoyar a los oficios calificados y a otros miembros del equipo según sea necesario.
  • Informe de inmediato al supervisor del sitio sobre peligros, incidentes y casi accidentes.
