General Ledger Accountant

12 month contract
Monday-Friday flex schedule, start between 8:00 am and 9:30 am. Eligible for 1 WFH day per week after 6 months post-conversion. 6-8 weeks of training provided.
Responsibilities
- Complete monthly reconciliations of approx. 40+ General Ledger accounts.
- Review monthly BSG reconciliations for exceptions.
- Analyze sales expense reports vs budget and monthly GL expenses vs prior year; identify causes of fluctuations.
- Compile and distribute financial statements and other reports; prepare monthly Juice Department P&L, M&E reports, and executive expense reconciliations.
- Reconcile and review gross profit postings.
- Prepare and post journal entries as needed.
- Track, process, and verify incentive program payments/submissions to avoid duplication; submit incentives to payroll.
- Process bill backs to suppliers and monthly revenue, PST, and commission payouts.
- Prepare analysis reports as requested for management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
- Recent college graduates or 1-2 years of experience.
- Experience with journal entries, fixed assets, and reconciliations. ERP experience preferred.
- Intermediate Excel (testing required during interview).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
