Join our dedicated team as a part-time Radiologic Technologist We are seeking a skilled and registered Radiology Technologist with outstanding communication abilities. This position offers a unique opportunity to work every other weekend on Saturday and Sunday from 3 PM to 1:30 AM, totaling 10 hours per week.
At Medstar Health, one of the largest healthcare systems in the Baltimore-Washington metro region, you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact by performing diagnostic medical radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Acquire ordered images, ensuring technical quality, and send them to appropriate destinations for interpretation.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area, reporting any unsafe conditions and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
Gather patient history, address patient inquiries, explain procedures, and prepare the radiographic room.
Perform radiographic examinations and complete necessary documentation such as evaluation results and treatment plans.
Manage supply requests and inventory as needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in the State of Maryland.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Associate degree is preferred.
