Location: Georgetown, KY 40324

Duration: 12+ months with possible extension or conversion

Pay range: $40/hr - $43/hr

Schedule: Mon - Fri

Travel: 10% max (domestic)

Overtime: 10%

Job Description:
A Standards Engineer is needed to plan and develop North American Facility Standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, review, and update facility/construction standards and specifications for mechanical, electrical, civil, and architectural systems.
  • Collaborate with design, planning, manufacturing, and projects teams to finalize standards and specifications.
  • Monitor industry trends, global trends, and building performance data to update standards as needed.
  • Manage multiple standards projects simultaneously to ensure timely completion.
  • Provide guidance on standards and specifications to internal teams.
  • Document and maintain records related to all standards and specifications.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in standards development, engineering implementation, or quality assurance (5+ years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ASHRAE, IBC, NFPA).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar PDF editing software.

Additional Desired Qualifications:
  • Direct experience with construction standards and specifications.
  • Proficiency with standards management software or tools.
