Aurora Hsaio Lisa Ortiz Contract to hire backfill for someone on maternity leave, but they are in the midst of hiring them that is why they are being selective of who they hire Ideally NYC is best, but they are now open to REMOTE and for the right candidate they will consider a remote person There is SOME flex with the bill rate they will talk through that Figma UX, UI Should have worked with product manager and development leads in their experience Product design nuts to bolts Need to see portfolios They like to see the process in the portfolios the case studies This role is in the weeds designing Does not need to be super detailed, but some process in the portfolio explaining their work This line of business is like a start up within the bank it is a net new product Experience in solving complex issues navigate with different types of stories Partner with the product lead and dev team Work on strategy of design and push it through to completion One product partner with compliance and one partner on billing Some candidates had UX design more marketing oriented - Not at the level of the design they need Some did not have experience working with cross functional teams Some of the work that came through was a bit dated with not current UX trends They do not want a marketing designer None of the candidates hit the mark Some candidates interviewed and could not speak to the work or how they could collaborate cross functionally Notes from 3/25 call Must include Portfolios with submittal- case study work, show design thinking, show who they worked with and highlight their contributions Web based or Desktop Applications- Mobile is nice, but they are really looking for content heavy software application- like flows, site maps, wireframe forms More of a product designer as they do UI & UX- they have a design system in place Lead track of work, do design, push forward that track of work, will have ownership of a track of work- so if there is another designer working on it they'll partner with them to allocate the work to them and coordinate their work for project delivery interim coverage for someone on leave potential to convert Figma a must Jira and Trello a plus financial a plus- if not then b2b or software (not marketing)- content heavy sites exp partnering with dev and product leads to bring about the development of a specific chunk of work in a software platform Must be able to design and be a hands-on Lead being comfortable with not having all the requirements up front, partner with product owners to throw out ideas and help them design the solution Preference is they are co-located to NYC - to do hybrid in NYC; but open to fully remote and to contract only candidate Interview: 2-3 people on team will interview in 30 min separate interviews plus one final from brian head of group Look at Pershing X website- lots of their work in on there (wove platform)- this is where most of their work is after a month of access and familiarizing themselves they'll get a project work assigned to them- will work with Lisa who will be handing off the work to them as she is covering for the person who is out now Team Size: 20 on pershing x designers and researchers 4.3 Supplier Note: manager plans on reviewing rest of the resumes today and will schedule interviews this week Supplier Note: For candidates based in New York the manager will consider candidate over rate up to $110.
