We are eager to welcome a dedicated Inpatient Acute Care LPN to our specialty oncology team. In this vital role, you will deliver compassionate nursing care to a diverse oncology patient population.
The oncology unit, CB2, caters to a range of patients, including those with solid tumors, hematological cancers, acute leukemia, lymphoma, and benign hematology conditions, as well as providing hospice and end-of-life care. In addition, our unit addresses various med-surg overflow needs.
As an LPN, you will work under the direction of a registered nurse, contributing to high-quality, patient-centered care in the inpatient oncology unit. You will collaborate as part of a dynamic healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes regarding quality, safety, and patient experience while utilizing your full skill set. Your responsibilities include providing direct nursing care, assisting with treatments and procedures, and implementing nursing interventions guided by an RN, all while receiving specialized training in oncology through our expert oncology educator and the Hartford Healthcare Cancer Institute.
Qualifications:
- Current Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse license required.
