Overview

Our internship program offers a comprehensive and immersive experience designed to provide aspiring structural engineers with real-world exposure to the industry. As an intern, you will work alongside seasoned professionals on a variety of projects, ranging from industrial and commercial building designs to earth retention structures. You will gain hands-on experience in preparing structural plans, conducting product research, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications and local codes. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree from an accredited university.
  • Major in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a Structural Emphasis.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2.
  • Demonstrates integrity and ethical work practices.
Learning Opportunities
  • Assist in preparing proposals and statements of qualification.
  • Conduct product research and document compliance with functional and code requirements.
  • Write concise basis of design specifications for technical drawings.
  • Respond to plan review comments during the permitting process.
  • Participate in industrial and commercial building design projects and earth retention structures.
  • Prepare structural calculations to support project requirements.
  • Support engineers in completing project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with team members on new ideas and innovations.


Additional Information

The Structural Engineering Internship is based in Atlanta, GA, and offers a competitive pay range of $20 to $22 per hour. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. Please note that interns are not eligible for additional company benefits.
