Muros is a rapidly growing art activation agency, partnering with some of the best artists in the world to create first-of-its-kind experiences for brands and businesses. We specialize in street art and experiential activations, to create truly authentic and impactful connections between organizations and the communities they serve.
Our vision is to get more art seen by providing new platforms for all types of artists to showcase their work.
About The Role
This isn't your run of the mill cold calling gig. This is about long-term thinking and strategies that nurture leads and build lasting relationships. We want nimble, solutions-oriented people that are able to jump into anything that promotes the company's growth, allows us to scale our client base, and strategically develop new and existing revenue channels.
With Muros' ambitious growth plans, we need someone who can support the company's rapid expansion-literally across the world. No tiny territories here or limited industries to call on. Everyone needs art.
The Sr. Sales Manager will be responsible for sourcing and reaching out to potential partners, leading sales calls and meetings, creating proposals, and identifying new business opportunities (just to name a few). You'll play a really important role here at Muros.
There will rarely be any day or challenge that's exactly the same. We're a thriving but crazy start-up and everyone wears a lot of hats (even the ones that don't look good on them). This role will be no exception.
What We're Looking For
- You have 5-7 years of successful sales and business development experience with both brands and agencies.
- Knowledge of Hubspot (or similar CRM) with a proven ability to manage your sales cycles and streamline your day to day responsibilities.
- You can complete an RFP in your sleep, build stand-out proposals, and your sales pitches have earned rave reviews.
- You've managed potential and current clients with a track record for building rapport quickly, following through with stellar results.
- Possess extraordinary interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive, multi-task and prioritize a high-volume of tasks in a diverse and dynamic environment.
- You're a stickler for details and don't let things slip through the cracks.
- You can maintain a balanced workload that's always prioritized.
- You're a champion organizer of time with a high capacity to get sh*t done.
- You communicate effectively and can build and maintain relationships with ease.
- You're an out of the box thinker, eager to express and share new ideas.
- You can work autonomously but enjoy working in a team setting.
- You're a creative soul at your core and you truly believe in the value-and power-of art.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Expert knowledge of sales and client services
- Fast study on the company's evolving products and services with an innate ability to translate those into customer needs.
- Ability to manage against metrics and KPIs to demonstrate and track your success.
- Self-motivated and a self-starter who can navigate ambiguity, uncover new opportunities and define the world "hustle" day in and day out.
- Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills ... you listen and people listen to you.
- A true people person, able to form long lasting connections to create ongoing opportunities for business growth.
- Comfortable working in an extremely fast paced start-up environment. You're in this for the long haul and want to be part of the movement.
- Proven skills in project planning, roadmap development and detailed status reporting.
This role will be located in Chicago, IL.
