Job Title: Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) - Perm Placement
Location: Berlin, NH

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at AVH, providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Under the supervision of radiologists and the Director of Radiology, the Technologist will operate advanced imaging equipment, including Computerized Tomography (CT) scanners, to produce detailed images essential for accurate diagnosis and patient care. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners and other radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures (head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, extremities) adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
- Ensure patient positioning and preparation are done correctly to acquire optimal images, maintaining high standards of patient care and comfort.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure timely and accurate imaging services.
- Maintain equipment calibration, safety checks, and proper documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Uphold infection control and radiation safety procedures to safeguard patients and staff.
- Continuously monitor and assess image quality; make adjustments as necessary.
- Provide excellent patient communication, explaining procedures and addressing concerns professionally and compassionately.
- Current and valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
- Proven experience with CT imaging, including routine protocols and procedures.
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient care principles.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Hourly Range: $29.32 - $36.65 depending on experience.
- Sign-On Bonus: $7,500
