Summary:
Responsible for managing post-origination loan activities, ensuring accurate processing of payments, adjustments, and documentation in compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and process loan payments, payoffs, and adjustments in servicing systems.
- Review loan documents to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
- Respond to inquiries from borrowers, internal teams, and third parties regarding loan status and servicing issues. Reconcile account discrepancies and resolve servicing errors.
- Maintain loan records and generate reports to support audits, compliance reviews, and financial reporting.
- Assist with system upgrades, policy updates, and process improvements related to loan servicing.
Skills:
- 10+ years of experience is required
- Experience in loan servicing, banking operations, or financial services.
- Familiarity with loan servicing systems and documentation.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to loan servicing and consumer finance.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
