Senior Accountant - Hybrid
Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Accountant with experience closing multiple sets of books or properties.
Duties:
- Prepare monthly community financial reporting packages to include balance sheet, profit and loss, A/R and A/P reports, cash flow summary, depreciation and fixed asset reports, bank reconciliations.
- Review and analyze monthly profit and loss general ledger activity.
- Reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts.
- Assist with audits, portfolio tracking, cash flow projections, budgeting, SOP planning and implementation, and other accounting projects.
- Complies with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Review and verify invoices and check requests for proper approvals and accurate coding.
- Review and initiate ACH transactions.
- Prepare ad hoc analyses and reports when required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.
- Able to deal with confidential information appropriately.
- Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
- College degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Two or more years of relevant accounting experience closing multiple sets of books or accounting for multiple properties.
Our client offers a salary of $75k - $85k plus benefits and a Hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two working from home.
