About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible physicians in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine for a primary care practice in North Atlanta. This privately owned practice, established in 2008, maintains a strong reputation for clinical excellence. Due to high demand from new patients, they are currently hiring for the Suwanee location and expanding to additional Metro Atlanta locations.

Position Details
Practice Scope & Patient Care

The practice provides outpatient primary care exclusively for adult patients 18 years and older, managing common chronic illnesses and acute care with a strong focus on preventive medicine. The patient population is primarily middle-aged adults, and the practice accepts most commercial insurance plans as well as Medicare.

Patient appointments are scheduled at a manageable pace of approximately 2 new patients or 3 established patients per hour. The practice does not provide pediatric care, major psychiatric management, or chronic pain management services. Payer credentialing is managed through the Emory Healthcare Network, streamlining administrative processes.
Work Schedule & Life Balance

This position offers excellent work-life balance with flexible physician schedules: either 4 clinical days plus 1 administrative day, or 4.5 days with a half administrative day per week. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

There are no weekends, no hospital rounds, and light call responsibilities shared among providers. If standard schedule options do not meet your needs, reasonable accommodations can be discussed.
Work Environment & Support

The practice operates in a comfortable, well-appointed office setting. Registered Nurses manage the entire triage process, prior authorizations, and care coordination, allowing physicians to focus on patient care. Comprehensive marketing support helps physicians build and maintain steady patient panels.
Technology & Diagnostics

The practice utilizes modern technology including eClinicalWorks EMR with integrated e-prescribing, a patient portal for results communication, Dragon Medical One dictation, and Sunoh AI medical scribe technology to minimize documentation burden.

On-site diagnostics include ultrasound, DEXA scan, spirometry, EKG, and a full laboratory with phlebotomy services.
Referral Network

An extensive referral network includes subspecialists from Emory, Northside, Piedmont, Northeast Georgia Health System, and highly regarded independent practices throughout Metro Atlanta.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Compensation Structure

A competitive base salary is offered with additional productivity bonuses based on collections per calendar year. First-year productivity bonuses are prorated based on start date. A sign-on bonus is provided, and relocation assistance is available for qualifying candidates.

Physicians interested in other Metro Atlanta locations may discuss potential opportunities, as the practice is actively planning expansion and open to mutually beneficial location options.

Ideal Candidate

Qualified candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, possess an active Georgia medical license or be eligible for licensure, hold DEA registration, and be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. Board certification must be obtained and maintained throughout employment.
