Our client, is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Accounts Payable team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay Range: $23 per hour

Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

  • Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
  • Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers through analysis of invoice and expense reports, and recording entries accordingly
  • Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal ID numbers, and scheduling checks
  • Resolve discrepancies and documentation issues related to purchase orders, contracts, invoices, or payments
  • Process customer credits as needed and ensure credits are received for outstanding memos
What's Needed?
  • 5-7 years of related professional experience in accounts payable or financial operations
  • Proficiency with 10-key data entry
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold the integrity of sensitive information
