Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Breast Sonographer for a 13-week travel contract at a leading healthcare facility in Dallas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing complex diagnostic breast ultrasound scans, ensuring the highest standards of image quality and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce complex diagnostic breast scans.
• Evaluate and verify image quality according to facility standards and quality control protocols.
• Review and interpret intermediate/complex exams with attending physicians to determine if additional procedures are required.
• Perform intermediate troubleshooting of ultrasound equipment and maintain room readiness.
• Identify and distinguish appropriate ultrasound modalities (2D, Doppler, color flow, etc.).
• Complete, log, and distribute billing reports accurately.
• Participate in research studies and recommend process improvements to enhance patient care and workflow.

Job Accountabilities

• Maintain a positive working relationship with physicians, staff, students, and patients.
• Serve as a resource person to ensure efficient patient information flow.
• Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and laws.
• Seek guidance as necessary to ensure proper understanding and compliance.

Submission & Certification Requirements

Required

• Experience: 1.5+ years of Sonography experience specifically working Breast cases.
• Certification: ARDMS or ARRT (BR) discipline.
- ARDMS in OB/GYN discipline is strongly desired.
• Setting: Hospital experience or experience in a Women's/Baby and Birth center.
• Certification: BLS (AHA)

Preferred

• Previous travel experience.

Candidates living within 60 miles of the Dallas, TX can also apply. Hourly Pay range $53.25- $60.75/ hour on W2.
