Step into a high-functioning orthopedic care environment in Midlothian, Virginia, covering a maternity leave assignment for 6 months. We re seeking an experienced, autonomous PA with a strong orthopedic background to support elective inpatient orthopedic procedures.

Location: Midlothian, VA

️ Assignment Dates: ASAP February 22, 2026
Setting: Inpatient Elective Orthopedic Surgery
EMR: EPIC
️ Patient Demographic: Adults & Geriatric
Call: None
️ Supervision: Remote supervision available physician not on-site

Responsibilities:

  • Independent inpatient rounding

  • Discharge coordination

  • Post-op management of elective orthopedic surgery patients

  • Minor procedures: dressing changes, line removals

️ Travel Reimbursement:

  • Flight: Standard Economy (reimbursed)

  • Hotel: Fully Covered

  • Rental Car: Standard economy covered

Requirements

  • Board Certified PA Required

  • Active Virginia License + DEA Required

  • BLS Certification Required

  • Orthopedic Surgery Experience Required

  • Ability to work independently
