Nooter/Eriksen is seeking an Desktop Support Specialist to join the Information Systems Team. This role is part of a team that is responsible for providing technical support to all Nooter/Eriksen users. The expectation is that this will be a hybrid position depending on business needs.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will respond to end-users' complex technical requests in person, via phone, email, and help desk tickets, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for all networked devices (desktop, laptops, desk phones & printer/copiers), configure, deploy and maintain desktops, laptops & printer/copiers, assist with asset tracking and management, and log all help desk interactions (in person, via phone, emails, and messages) into ticketing system.

QUALIFICATIONS. We want the person selected for this role to be successful The following qualifications are essential to be effective in this role:

  • One (1) year of related experience
  • Associates or Technical Degree
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills and excellent customer service skills. Proactive, and able to work both independently and with a team. Excellent written and spoken communication skills, highly professional, organized, and trustworthy team player.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Ability to read, write, problem solve, make quick decisions, interpret data and analyze results; effective written and verbal communication is essential.
