About You:
As a dedicated customer service specialist, your focus is to ensure our customers receive the support they need. You possess strong data entry skills and experience in high-pressure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer support via telephone, fax, or email by accurately obtaining and analyzing order information promptly. Take corrective steps to uphold excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction levels. Work collaboratively to identify potential sales leads and develop service packages in partnership with project managers and account managers.
- Answer customer calls within the first three rings.
- Receive, process, and confirm order accuracy using our internal CRM/Axapta mainframe system and customer purchase orders.
- Demonstrate strong data entry experience.
- Initiate changes to customer orders and maintain accurate order/customer information files.
- Proofread entered orders to ensure correct codes are applied before confirmation.
- Collaborate with production scheduling to meet customer expectations.
- Address or escalate complaints regarding product or service failures.
- Conduct follow-up calls within three hours to address customer concerns.
- Prepare quotes for items not in the price book.
- Work with other locations to resolve issues and enhance service offerings.
- Answer customer inquiries related to technical aspects of products and services.
- Update quote statuses for visibility among the sales team.
- Participate in regular customer service meetings.
- Engage in the organization's continuous improvement programs and product training.
- Assist colleagues and take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Required Skills:
- Associate degree or equivalent education/experience preferred.
- Proven experience in customer service within the glass, construction, or manufacturing industries.
- Demonstrated history of high-quality customer service.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work accurately.
- Strong communication (both written and oral), interpersonal, conflict resolution, and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in data collection and listening.
- Basic mathematical skills, including calculating discounts and percentages.
- Understanding of basic algebra and geometry.
