Description:
We are looking for a full-time locum to permanent Otolaryngologist to fill our need.
Patient contact hours will total 36 per week.
Shifts per month are aligned with a full-time equivalent.
Clinic hours are from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Procedures and OR days will be scheduled as open time allows.
On-call duties are a requirement and will be included in the call schedule.
This role will involve both inpatient and clinic coverage.
Inpatient responsibilities are part of this position.
The physician to nurse ratio is 1:1.
There will be 1 ancillary staff member per provider.
All ENT services are offered within the practice.
There are 2-3 exam rooms per provider.
Medical imaging is available in the building.
Lab and pharmacy services are also provided within the building.
Expect a daily patient volume of 30 or more.
Appointment length is typically 15 minutes.
The patient population includes Central Iowa residents.
There is a teaching opportunity available.
The electronic medical record system utilized is EPIC.
On-call duties will include weekend responsibilities as needed.
