A leading manufacturing company is looking for an HR Business Partner to join their team. This position requires someone who is great at relationship building to support the leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and consultant to management on all employee relations issues.
  • Partner with supervisors and managers regarding employee relations issues
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and provide coaching and feedback to employees, supervisors, and managers
  • Conduct investigations and make recommendations regarding disciplinary actions and/or employee terminations
  • Manage all employee relations activities within client groups according to established guidelines and sound administrative practices
  • Design and implement people solutions to address enterprise and functional strategies
  • Conduct research and develop/recommend solutions and process improvements on HR related projects, processes, and policies aligned to strategy, culture, and business practices
  • Complete daily walk-throughs to stay informed on business challenges/opportunities
  • Partner with the recruitment team to facilitate/coordinate hourly and salaried interviews, conduct onboarding, and new hire orientation
  • Actively participate and manage specific projects as determined in the annual HR plan, and participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives
  • Partner with Legal on the creation of offer letters, separation agreements, and other documents
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant Human Resources experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Intermediate experience with HRIS systems
  • Experience managing Conflict, Project Management & completion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Possess demonstrated problem-solving abilities along with strong time management & prioritization skills
Desired Skills:
  • Advanced experience in HR law, compliance, and regulations
  • Familiarity with standard HR concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Experience with Workday
