Platform Engineer with Security Clearance

509 9th Avenue North, Suite 150 Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 www.deploy360.us Platform Engineer Location: Fort Bragg - Fayetteville, NC Position Summary Deploy360 is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer with 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining enterprise-level platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Red Hat Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices, coupled with the ability to operate in a secure and dynamic environment with experience working in on-premise environments. Your work will directly support mission-critical systems and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain platform solutions based on Red Hat Linux. Containerize applications and manage deployments using Docker. Deploy, orchestrate, and maintain Kubernetes workloads in enterprise environments. Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to automate build, deployment, and configuration workflows. Troubleshoot system, performance, and deployment issues across distributed environments. Monitor and optimize platform performance using industry-standard logging and observability tools. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and compliance. Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to existing system architecture. Support operations in secure, mission-critical, on-premise and cloud-integrated environments. Required Qualifications 6-10 years in platform engineering, systems engineering, DevOps, or related technical fields. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Red Hat Linux administration (enterprise environment). Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration. CI/CD pipeline development and automation tooling. Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, etc.). Monitoring and logging systems for distributed platforms. Experience working in on-premise environments Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
