Reports To: Food Service Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

General Description:
To provide assistance in the food service program by accounting for meals and revenues. Assists in area of Ala Carte preparation, refill and help maintaining overall cleanliness in ala carte area. In addition, assist in afternoon cleaning Ala Carte area.

Qualifications:
  1. Be a born-again believer who demonstrates commitment to Christian education.
  2. Be in agreement with the Lakeland Christian School Statement of Faith and staff qualifications.
  3. High School diploma or equivalent.
  4. Ability to operate computer/point of sale.
  5. Knowledge of food preparation and sanitation procedures.
  6. Must be reliable.
  7. Be able to work in a team environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Uphold and ensure compliance of all LCS policies and procedures.
  2. Maintain a professional appearance.
  3. Run computer/point of sale for each lunch.
  4. Fill all paper products, condiments and self-serve units.
  5. Assist between lunches with Ala Carte refill and make trays for teachers.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  1. Must possess a positive attitude and work well with others.

Physical Demands:
  1. Ability to kneel, crouch, squat, climb, stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs.
  2. Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
  3. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
