College of Pharmacy is seeking a P2 level or higher to provide tutoring services for Roseman University College of Pharmacy students.
Tutors will be responsible for leading one-on-one, small groups, drop-ins, or classroom tutoring formats. Will work with the student to develop a tutoring plan that fits the student's individual needs - including study strategies, note-taking skills, and approaches to answer test questions.
Individuals must possess the knowledge and the following skills and abilities or be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
- Knowledge of Roseman University, College of Pharmacy didactic lecture topics
- Knowledge of pharmacy educational practices
- Knowledge of the Roseman University, College of Pharmacy educational model
- Knowledge of the Roseman University, College of Pharmacy policies and procedures
- Be able to explain concepts to others effectively
- Work comfortably with people from diverse backgrounds
- Possess good organizational skills and complete paperwork in a timely manner
- Exhibit patience and positive attitudes in establishing an encouraging learning environment
