About Client:
The client provides information technology (IT) services, including business outsourcing, infrastructure technology, and application services. The application service offered by the company includes application development, maintenance, and support. The markets served by the company are financial services and insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, government, transportation, communications, and consumer and retail industries.

Salary Range: $110K-$120K/Annum

Job Description:

• Maintains, integrates, and implements software applications within the organization. Coordinates software application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation and support to ensure smooth, stable and timely implementation of new software and updates to installed applications. Ensures proper controls are established and maintained over test and production systems and software source code
• Performs complex troubleshooting as a subject matter expert in one or more applications. Works to ensure appropriate monitoring and alerting setup. Works on root cause analysis and problem management to address underlying technical issues. Collaborates with business and application development stakeholders.
• Performs complex troubleshooting as a subject matter expert in one or more applications. Works to ensure appropriate monitoring and alerting setup. • Monitors changes to applications and their operating environment. Analyzes any complex issues. Recommends technical solutions on application problems - 40%
• Contributes to incident resolution for high priority incidents - 25%
• Reviews and analyzes product migrations through all systems environments. May review and execute Change Management scripts - 20%
• Reviews and develops updates of contingency documentation and processes - 15%
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
• 4-6 years of experience in applications support or production environment required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
