Senior Software Engineer

Job Overview:
we are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead the enterprise rollout of SonarQube across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep development expertise, strong CI/CD experience, and a collaborative mindset to coordinate with multiple platform teams. You will be instrumental in building automation, writing scripts, and integrating quality tools with cloud data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development:
- Analyze and work with multiple CI/CD pipelines across State Street platforms.
- Create and deploy scripts supporting SonarQube rollout.
- Build applications to integrate SonarQube with DataLake environments.
- Release Management:
- Research and automate provisioning in the cloud.
- Manage releases following State Street's compliance policies.
- Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams for coordinated rollout efforts.
- Ensure cross-team alignment for successful implementation.
- Documentation:
- Create comprehensive documentation and standards for SonarQube integration, deployment, and usage.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
- Strong expertise in Python and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, and RDBMS/DataLake/DataBricks.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Exposure to multiple DevOps ecosystems: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket Pipelines, Terraform, Harness.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Experience coordinating across multiple technical teams.

- Interview Process:
- Round 1: 60-minute video interview
- Round 2: 60-minute in-person interview (no formal test expected)
- Work Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
- Work Mode: Hybrid (Onsite presence required in Princeton, NJ)
