Leidos is seeking a Senior Manager of Industrial Energy Engineering to lead engineering oversight for a utility energy-efficiency program focused on enhancing energy efficiency in industrial facilities. Location: Candidates are preferred to be based in or around Madison, WI, but we are open to the right candidate working remotely within a suitable time zone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality assurance and quality control on all final reports documenting energy savings for clients.
  • Provide thorough QA/QC for engineering calculations in our deliverables.
  • Collaborate with client engineers to adapt to evolving client needs.
  • Manage and maintain strong technical relationships with subcontractors, reviewing their deliverables, and providing necessary corrections.
  • Develop and master program guidance documentation outlining client deliverables.
  • Contribute insights on program design to Leidos management, clients, Statewide Working Groups, and the California Public Utilities Commission.
  • Manage responses to client technical inquiries related to our work products.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field with a minimum of four years of relevant experience in industrial energy project engineering. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Self-motivated and proactive attitude.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over 6 years of experience in reviewing engineering aspects of utility energy efficiency programs.
