Providence Staffing’s client is seeking Personal Injury Case Manager/ Paralegal is responsible for overseeing all aspects of personal injury cases from after sign-up through settlement, prior to the commencement of litigation. This role acts as the primary liaison between clients, attorneys, medical providers, and insurance companies, ensuring efficient case progression, excellent client service, and optimal outcomes for the firm and its clients.

Job Duties:

  • Case Management:
    Oversee a caseload of pre-litigation personal injury matters from signup through settlement, ensuring thorough and timely handling of all case aspects.
  • Client Communication:
    Maintain regular, proactive communication with clients to provide updates, answer questions, and guide them through the claims and medical treatment process.
  • Document Preparation:
    Draft, revise, and finalize legal documents including demand letters, medical summaries, settlement documents, and correspondence for attorney review.
  • Evidence & Records Collection:
    Gather and organize all relevant evidence, including police reports, medical records, bills, wage loss documentation, and photographs.
  • Medical Treatment Coordination:
    Schedule and track client medical appointments, monitor treatment progress, and ensure there are no gaps in care.
  • Insurance & Claims Handling:
    Open and manage insurance claims, communicate with adjusters, and negotiate settlements under attorney supervision.
  • Demand Package Preparation:
    Assemble comprehensive demand packages summarizing case facts, liability, and damages for submission to insurance companies.
  • Lien & Billing Management:
    Verify medical billing balances and liens, request reductions from providers, and negotiate liens to maximize client recovery.
  • Deadline & File Management:
    Track and meet all deadlines, maintain organized case files (electronic and paper), and ensure compliance with firm procedures.
  • Attorney Support:
    Assist attorneys with case strategy, preparation, and advocacy, including research and case summaries.

1\. Bates Numbering:

\- Perform Bates numbering for trial documents.

2\. Setting up Exhibits:

\- Prepare and organize exhibits for trial presentations.

3.Working with Expert Witnesses:

\- Collaborate with expert witnesses to prepare for trial.

4\. Getting Ready for Trial:

\- Assist in all aspects of trial preparation, ensuring thorough readiness for trial proceedings.

Compensation:

The compensation range for this position is $22- $30 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
