JOB SUMMARY
Works under general direction of the unit executive director to ensure that unit and campus-based staff receive the support necessary for them to prepare their students for post-secondary success. Oversees and supports Coordinator 1 staff in Postsecondary, College, and Career to ensure that they can adequately support campuses, students and families through career exploration, advanced coursework selection, college application, matriculation and financial aid. They also support the efforts to increase the number of students across their unit who meet district-wide CCMR goals, meeting TSI benchmarks and having postsecondary plans.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Collaborates with various internal and external stakeholders, including district and campus leadership, community organizations, district departments, colleges and universities, scholarship providers, and other school districts to maximize student outcomes.
2. Coordinates and manages assigned college and career readiness programs, postsecondary programming, platforms, initiatives, and/or personnel to increase effectiveness with district college and career readiness goals.
3. Supervises CCMR Coordinator 1 staff at the unit level.
4. Recruit, develop and retain high-performing service-oriented team; ensuring team and individuals have clearly defined goals, develop systems to track performance, and regularly improve program delivery based on data and user needs
5. Helps shape vision, goals and supporting strategies to prepare students in the district for post- secondary success through establishing metrics, goals, and benchmarks.
6. Constantly uses multiple sources of data to monitor progress of college and career readiness efforts and adjust efforts as needed.
7. Analyzes student outcome and system data to make informed decisions for continuous program/platform improvement across college, career and postsecondary programming.

8. Oversees and supports specialists to ensures that district CCMR goals are being met within their assigned unit, across all high priority areas.
9. Delivers professional development workshops and training to support CCMR initiatives, services, and programs.
10. Identifies and develops innovative and effective strategies to strengthen college and career readiness levels across the unit.
11. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment promoting collaboration, professional development, and high performance within the unit.
12. Works with other departments to ensure increase in number of students meeting CCMR criteria.
13. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree Preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE
At least one year of CCMR experience
1 to 3 years of leadership or management in education preferred
Strong knowledge of CCMR indicators and data analyzing skills, can be substituted with extensive knowledge in college, career, and/or postsecondary programming (AP/IB/DC,etc.)

SKILL AND/OR REQUIRED LICENSING/CERTIFICATION
Microsoft Office, office equipment (e.g., computer, copier)
Strong familiarity with college and financial aid processes
Bilingual (Spanish, Vietnamese or other) highly valued
Exceptional interpersonal skills, able to relate one-on-one and in groups with confidence and poise
Ability to provide critical and constructive feedback to effect immediate change
Highly analytical, able to interpret data and weigh multiple options
Strong communicator, ability to write clearly and analytically
A problem solver, able to prioritize multiple scenarios
Ability to model research-based teaching strategies
Self-starter, flexible, able to adapt and adjust quickly to changing situations and needs
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Work Leadership. Regularly provides project management or team leadership to a group of two or more employees but does not have formal supervisory responsibility. Leading and directing is restricted to monitoring work and providing guidance on escalated issues. Most of work time is spent performing many of the same duties they are leading.
WORK COMPLEXITY/INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT
Work is substantially complex, varied and regularly requires the selection and application of technical and detailed guidelines. Independent judgment is required to identify, select, and apply the most appropriate methods as well as interpret precedent. Position regularly makes recommendations to management on areas of significance to the department. Supervision received typically consists of providing direction on the more complex projects and new job duties and priorities.

Compiles and organizes data and figures.

Decisions are made on both routine and non-routine matters with some latitude but are still subject to approval. Job is occasionally expected to recommend new solutions to problems and improve existing methods or generate new ideas.

Errors are serious and difficult to discover, normally involve decisions not subject to detailed review and will result in excessive costs and/or significant project delays.
COMMUNICATION/INTERACTIONS
Collaborate and solve problems - works with others to resolve problems, clarify or interpret complex information/policies, and provide initial screening/negotiations without approval authority. Interactions are typically with customers, senior level professional staff, and managers.
CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS
Leads others in the resolution of highly sensitive and confidential issues on behalf of the department. Acts as a trusted advisor and becomes involved in the customer's decision-making process including presenting alternatives and information and applying persuasion and negotiation skills in the resolution of problems.
Monitors customer service standards.
WORKING/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.
Ability to carry and/or lift less than 45 pounds.
