Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Backend Java Developer to join their team. As a Backend Java Developer, you will be part of the Wealth and Investment Management Technology (WIMT) group supporting the Portfolio Management Platform (PMP) area. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a passion for innovative technology, which will align well with the organization's needs.

Location:St. Louis, MO or Charlotte, NC

Pay Range:$69.53

What's the Job?

  • Contribute to software engineering initiatives supporting portfolio management capabilities across advisory platforms.
  • Collaborate strategically with team members to meet project delivery goals and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java and related technologies.
  • Leverage AI tools like Microsoft Copilot and GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity and innovation.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
What's Needed?
  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, with a focus on backend development using Java.
  • Experience with building JSON REST APIs using Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
  • Proficiency in database technologies such as MongoDB and familiarity with full-stack development.
  • Knowledge of automated testing tools like JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, or Playwright.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, version control systems like GitHub, and automation practices.
