Product Development Specialist - San Francisco, CA (Onsite)

Location: Onsite - San Francisco, CA 94105

Duration: 9 months

Join a prestigious global retail brand celebrated for its creativity, collaboration, and craftsmanship We’re looking for a Product Development Specialist to enhance the complete development process. You'll collaborate with Design, Production, and vendors to transform innovative styles from concept into reality.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, detail-oriented environment and enjoys working with cross-functional teams to achieve product excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the entire product development lifecycle, serving as the link between Design and Production teams.
  • Enter, monitor, and evaluate costing data for all styles, identifying and solving discrepancies as needed.
  • Oversee sampling and prototype timelines, coordinating with mills and vendors to ensure timely delivery.
  • Initiate and track Time & Action calendars to keep projects on schedule.
  • Maintain regular communication with vendors and internal partners to ensure data accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Support internal systems and processes related to product development and execution.

Your Qualifications

  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience collaborating with product development, production, or merchandising teams in the apparel or retail sector.
  • Proficiency in data entry, cost analysis, and vendor communication tools.
  • Capability to juggle multiple timelines and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
